May be set to any style requiredThe Barn Conference Centre
These rooms are in the beautifully restored old Cape Dutch buildings, with their metre thick walls, internal Victorian shutters and sash windows. Peaceful places steeped in tranquility, creating a restful atmosphere in which you can reflect, unwind, and really get down to some concentrated, focussed work. Flip charts, Video and Overhead Projectors are available on request.

Wonderful farm cooking

We offer full catering. Our cooks turn out the most delicious array of Cape dishes. Scrumptious boboties, bredies, chicken pies, quiches, roasts and braais. A couple of days at Goedgedacht turns into a steady mouth watering procession of great meals. Our scones and home made jams are not bad either! If you really enjoy the jams you can go home with a couple of bottles which you can buy, along with our very own extra virgin olive oil - pressed at Goedgedacht - from our farm shop.

Lovely walks and runs

After or before a day of heavy mental concentration there is nothing better than a brisk walk or a run to clear your head. There are paths all over the farm (171 hectares in size). the damA 5km jog. A lovely walk to the Olive Peace Grove is a must. We've identified more than sixty different kinds of birds and if you're more adventurous you could take a walk up the Kasteelberg - and be rewarded by seeing the Cape spread out before your feet once you make it to the top.

Fancy a quick dip?

Two big dams to choose from on hot summer days.
